Stacked Up: Week 1 Power Rankings

#1 They played without either their #1 or #2 pitcher and still split a series that looked like it could go very badly. Are we sure Kyle's not a pitcher? Expect this team to roll when they insert Craig and Chandler in the lineup.
#2 Strojny looks like the best pitcher in the league. Werner was solid in his short relief appearance. Giguere and Werner impressed offensively, leading the charge with 5 longballs between them. All this without Pearson and Zeller in the lineup.
#3 Farkas and Moore look to be a very good, possibly great 1-2 punch from 48'; 10 scoreless innings between them. The offense, though, only mustered 5 hits (2 for extra bases) in 7 innings vs Kyle and a non-roster fill in player from 45'. Work to be done on that front.
#4 Brown went off with 4 HR and only made one mistake on the mound, outside of which he pitched 5 clean innings. Maybe lacking a true ace, but the Friday lineup is well balanced. We'll reevaluate the numbers after a Moonshot-free week.
#5 A 3-run HR from Robert in game six saved their day. Nick Braden was their star with the stick (5 H, .417 AVG) and on the bump, but RBI are evenly spread across the lineup. As with KF, we'll reevaluate the numbers after a Moonshot-free week.
#6 Aces pitching will be thin when they don't have Kujawa. Their bats scratched 4 runs across the plate against the 45's, but were shut down by Strojny from 48'. Mike V. has their only extra base hits so far; they'll need big hits from others to win sans Scott.
